What does the filter remove?
The filter is activated carbon, which is what takes on chlorine and the smell it leaves behind. We publish exactly what that does and nothing it doesn't.
Will it soften my water?
Honestly, no. Water softening needs a whole-house ion-exchange system. What Kleanglo does is reduce chlorine, which is what most people actually feel on their hair and skin. If a shower product promises soft water, be skeptical.
Will it change my water pressure?
Yes, it will boost your water pressure by at least 30%
How often do I replace the filter?
The filter needs to be replaced every 2-3 months depending on usage. It is recommended to set a reminder every 3 months to not forget.
Will it fit my shower?
It fits any standard shower arm and installs in about two minutes, no tools.
Is it hard to install?
Unscrew the old head, screw on Kleanglo, done. About two minutes. The first core comes pre-installed.

I didn't believe it was the water either
I want to say that first, because if you're reading this rolling your eyes, I was you.
My hair used to be the thing people complimented. Thick, shiny, the whole lot. Then somewhere in my mid-thirties it just changed. It went dull. It started snapping off in the brush, little broken bits all over the sink. My ponytail got thinner every month and I could see my scalp through it.
